 HONOURS AND AWARDS

 

NRDC & WIPO Award

 

Dr. V. Shrinet and Dr. M. K. Shah received the NRDC Award for the development of Fault Current Limiter (FCL).

 

This National award was presented to them on 15th October 2007 at New Delhi. The product has been adjusted the “Best Invention of 2007” and has been selected for WIPO [World Intellectual Property organization], Geneva Gold medal which will be presented in the year 2008.

 

Business Excellence Award

 

The International Study Circle (ISC), New Delhi has awarded the  “Business Excellence Award” to ERDA during the seminar on “Current Economic Scenario”. The Institute of Economic Studies (IES) organized this seminar on 13th December 2007.  ISC has also conferred the “International Business Excellence Award” on Shri A. K. Singh, Director, ERDA on the same day.  Dr. Bhishma Narain Singh, former union Minister and Governor presented the award.
