TWO- DAY TRAINING COURSE ON
CONDITION MONITORING OF MOTORS, GENERATORS, PUMPS AND TURBINES
26th – 27th August 2010

Introduction

Reliable functioning of Rotating Equipment (Motors, Generators, Pumps, Turbines, Blowers, Fans etc.) is of vital importance since any malfunctioning or failure is not only disastrous to the equipment concerned, but also adversely affects industrial output with detrimental economic impact. Thus, it is of utmost importance that reliable and safe functioning of rotating equipment be ensured.  A number of sophisticated techniques and tools have been developed over the years to monitor the health of rotating equipment on a continuous basis not only to ensure optimal equipment  functioning but also to design and develop  proactive – reliability framework centered – maintenance schedules for safety & continued reliability of the equipment.  ERDA has vast experience and expertise in this area.
