ERDA’s Participation at ELECRAMA 2025: A Key Showcase of Innovation and Expertise

ERDA (Electrical Research and Development Association) made a significant impact at ELECRAMA 2025, showcasing its leadership in electrical research and testing. The exhibition, held over five days, provided ERDA with an excellent platform to demonstrate its cutting-edge laboratories, services, and innovative R&D models to industry leaders.
At its stall, ERDA featured a range of specialized labs, including:

- Due Diligence of Solar Plants

The exhibition was officially inaugurated by Mr. Somes Bandyopadhyay, Managing Director of Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (GSECL), underscoring the significance of ERDA’s contributions to the sector.
In addition to its testing facilities, ERDA also showcased its innovative R&D models, reflecting its commitment to advancing technology in the electrical and energy sectors. These included:
- Reversible Aluminium Ion Battery Technology: A breakthrough in energy storage, offering a promising alternative to traditional lithium-ion batteries.
- Self-Powered Wireless Thermal Sensor: A cutting-edge sensor technology designed for efficient and sustainable monitoring of electrical systems.
- Three-Phase Induction Motor Drive for Electric Vehicles (EVs): A solution designed to enhance the performance and energy efficiency of electric vehicles.
