Electrical Research and Development Association popularly known as ERDA is a premier testing, calibration and research organization in India. ERDA was established by the Indian electrical industries and utilities with the support of government of India and the government of the state of Gujarat in the year 1974. It is a not-for-profit, autonomous organization.

Test charges can be paid by bank transfer directly to ERDA’s bank account. The bank details are provided along with our quotation and are also available here. The test charges can also be paid by demand draft in favour of “ERDA, payable at Vadodara”. ERDA prefers payment through NEFT /RTGS /electronic bank transfer. Kindly ensure that you include the following information (whichever is available) while you make payment through RTGS, NEFT, or through any other bank instrument: UTR No., date of UTR, amount, remitting bank and city, ERDA proforma No. ERDA invoice No., ERDA sales quote details and testing details. This will help us to provide faster service to you.
The normal working hours of ERDA are from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm Indian Standard Time. The lunch break is from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm. ERDA is closed on all Sundays of the month and on the first Saturdays. ERDA is also closed on national holidays. Please click here for list of holidays. However, to meet the urgency of customers, ERDA arranges to work on holidays also.
