HTLS Laboratory

High Temperature Low Sag (HTLS) conductors play a critical role in enhancing power transmission capacity without the need for new right-of-way. Ensuring their performance, safety, and long-term reliability is essential for modern power networks.

ERDA’s state-of-the-art HTLS Laboratory is equipped with advanced testing and evaluation facilities for HTLS conductors and associated hardware. The laboratory supports comprehensive testing to assess mechanical, electrical, thermal, and environmental performance, in line with national and international standards.
