Exhibition, Sampark & Conference
i) “Sampark” – Customer Outreach Program at Visakhapatnam, 23rd July 2025
During this quarter ERDA hosted Sampark – a customer outreach initiative held in Visakhapatnam on 23rd July 2025.
The event served as a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange and meaningful dialogue, with the participation of 50+ esteemed customers from distribution & transmission companies, power & process plants and manufacturers from electrical sector.
Key focus areas included:
- ERDA South Laboratory (Rajahmundry)
- Third-Party Inspection of Electrical Equipment
- Asset Management – Electrical & Mechanical Products
- Expert Services – Power System Studies, Power Quality Measurement
- Energy Assessment & Field Services
ii) ETES 2025 Conference at New Delhi, 21st August 2025
ERDA participated as a Distinguished Speaker at the 4th One-Day International Conference & Awards on Emerging Technologies in Electrical Systems (ETES-2025), held under the theme “Digital Digitalization… Now & Next (DDNN)”.
Representing ERDA, Mr. Anil Khopkar, Assistant Director & Head – R&D and Expert Services, delivered an insightful talk on “Recent Technologies on Transformers – A Methodology to Monitor Hot Spot Temperature of Distribution Transformers.”
The conference was also attended by Mr. Brijesh Sachdeva, Sr. Manager & HOS – ERDA North, and Mr. Amit Kushwaha, Dy. Manager – ERDA North.
ERDA was also honoured with the ETES – Electrical Mirror Award under the category “Excellence in Research, Testing & Certification Services” for its significant contributions to the electrical industry and utilities.
iii) EPS Expo 2025, Ahmedabad, 12th – 14th September 2025
ERDA participated in the EPS Expo 2025, held in Ahmedabad from 12–14 September 2025. Over the three days, ERDA showcased its latest innovations in Research, Testing & Evaluation for the Renewable and Power Sector, while engaging with more than 80 visitors at our stall. The exhibition provided an excellent platform for technical discussions and industry networking.
We are also pleased to share that ERDA was conferred with the Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of its outstanding contribution to the energy sector.
