ERDA Celebrates World Environment Day 2026 🌱

ERDA proudly celebrated World Environment Day 2026 on 5th June under the global theme “Now for Climate”, reaffirming its commitment to sustainability, environmental responsibility, and innovation-driven climate action.

The celebration included insightful presentations by ERDA engineers on initiatives aimed at reducing carbon footprints and promoting sustainability. The event also featured an award ceremony honoring employees for their exemplary performance and contributions during the year.

A key highlight of the event was the inspiring expert lecture delivered by Dr. Ashish Lele, Director, CSIR–National Chemical Laboratory (NCL), Pune, who shared valuable perspectives on the role of science, technology, and innovation in building a sustainable future.

Further strengthening our commitment to a greener tomorrow, the Chief Guest and ERDA employees participated in a tree plantation drive, planting over 100 saplings and symbolizing our collective responsibility towards environmental conservation.
