Celebrating ERDA’s 52nd Foundation Day – A Journey of Excellence Continues
With immense pride, ERDA celebrated its 52nd Foundation Day on 13th March 2026, marking another milestone in its journey of excellence in research and innovation.
The celebration began with the Lamp Lighting Ceremony, graced by Chief Guest Shri S.K.Malviya (Site Director – Kakrapar Atomic Power Station) and Guest of Honour Shri Dinesh Kumar Singh Rautela (Plant Head – NTPC Jhanor), symbolising knowledge and progress.
The event featured the inauguration and presentation of new laboratory facilities, including the Ingress Protection (IP) Test Facility at ERDA Savli and the augmentation of the Solar PV Module Laboratory with Sun Simulator and Fire & Ignitibility Test Facility, strengthening ERDA’s capabilities in advanced research and renewable energy technologies.
The programme included the Director’s Report, Presidential Address, and Keynote Addresses by the Guest of Honour and Chief Guest, highlighting ERDA’s achievements, future vision, and continued commitment to supporting industry and innovation.
The celebration concluded with a tour of the newly inaugurated laboratories, offering guests a first-hand view of ERDA’s expanding infrastructure and technical capabilities.
