ERDA at the 1st CII Gujarat Power Conclave 2025
We are pleased to share that ERDA participated in the first-ever CII Gujarat Power Conclave, held on 28th November 2025 in Vadodara, as part of a high-level panel discussion on:
“Meeting Energy Targets: Navigating Policy, Regulatory & Operational Challenges”
During the session, ERDA shared key insights on:
- ERDA’s continued support to the power sector through advanced research, testing, field diagnostics, and expert services that enhance reliability and safety across the value chain.
- Policy and regulatory gaps in testing & inspection, emphasizing the need for standardized national frameworks and reduced validity cycles for type tests in line with rapid technology advancements.
- Strategic collaboration with CII and industry partners to strengthen compliance, quality assurance, and capability building across emerging areas.
- Testing capacity expansion initiatives underway at ERDA with support from both State and Central Government, enabling us to meet the growing demand from renewable, transmission, distribution, smart grid, and next-generation technologies.
