ERDA enhances BIS Scope with inclusion of Solar Inverter Testing Standard IS/IEC 61727

ERDA’s Solar Inverter Testing Facility has now been accredited by BIS under Solar Inverter Standard IS/IEC 61727 thus enhancing its existing BIS scope. This major achievement directly supports the mandatory testing requirements under the BIS Act and Quality Control Order (QCO) issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India.

Our advanced lab is capable of testing grid-tied (string & central) and off-grid solar inverters up to 250 kVA, providing vital support to:
