ERDA Shines Again: CII Awards ERDA for Excellence in Intellectual Property
ERDA has been nationally recognised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) as Best Patent Portfolio (2020–25) – Runner Up in the R&D Institutes category and has also been named among the Top 30 IP-Driven Organisations for 2025. The honour was conferred at the award ceremony held on 17 December 2025 in New Delhi.
This recognition highlights ERDA’s strong innovation-driven culture, effective execution of collaborative R&D projects, and focused technology development efforts, leading to the creation of impactful Intellectual Property.

- Epoxy nanocomposite insulation material for medium and high voltage electrical equipment
- Novel composition and process for advanced corrosion-resistant paint
- Automatic solar panel cleaning system
- Silver and carbon nanotube metal composite contact tips for switchgear

- Voltage presence indicator for enhanced electrical panel safety
