ERDA Wins “Auto R&D Award” for EV Innovation
ERDA has been adjudged the winner of the “Auto R&D Award” for Innovation and R&D in Auto Electronics & the EV ecosystem, presented at the inaugural edition of the awards by Electronics For You on 9 January 2026 at Messe Global Convention Center, Pune.
Selected among 80 nationwide nominations, with only 10 organizations awarded, ERDA was recognized for its indigenous project “Bharat Charger – An Indigenous DC Fast Charger for EVs.”
The project involved complete in-house development of AC–DC and DC–DC converters, dual-controller architecture for efficient power conversion and EV communication.
This achievement highlights ERDA’s commitment to indigenous innovation and India’s EV ecosystem.
