New / Augmented Facilities

• ERDA has recently augmented test facility for Bending test upto 3 m height and bending load upto 10 kN. Bend test (Cantilever load withstand test) is generally performed on Bushings (Porcelain, Epoxy and Composite type), Solid core post insulator (Porcelain type), Composite polymer post insulators. The available mounting base is up to 600 mm diameter for holding the samples.
• ERDA has augmented motor test facility and now the capacity in terms of rating has increased form 110 kW to 132 kW for motor testing as per IS 12615 (Line Operated Three Phase a.c. Motors). A 2000 Nm torque rating, precise torque transducer of 0.05 class is added for the same.
• ERDA’s Diagnostic Section now provides specialized services for testing high-voltage equipment i.e. Power Transformer, Cable, Motors, Switchyard Equipment etc. at Power and Process Plants, utilizing a fully equipped mobile diagnostic testing van. ERDA offers comprehensive on-site diagnostic testing, ensuring fast, reliable, and efficient services to meet the industry’s evolving needs.
